VENTURA COUNTY FIREFIGHTERS

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS, LOCAL 1364

The Ventura County Professional Firefighters’ Association (VCPFA), International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1364, is the union of fulltime, professional firefighters and fire prevention officers of the Ventura County Fire Department. VCPFA members proudly serve the residents of Camarillo, Moorpark, Ojai, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and unincorporated areas of Ventura County as well as communities throughout the country via mutual aid responses.

The VCPFA is orientated toward carrying forward proud fire service, labor and fraternal traditions born out of the formation of the IAFF over 100 years ago. With a charge to fight for the protection of workers’ rights, support political initiatives and candidates that bolster public safety, and promote friendship among our members the VCPFA advances positive and meaningful civic engagement throughout our communities. One of VCPFA’s proudest traditions is our members’ charitable and educational community service; through VCPFA charities, volunteerism and financial support, our members strive to strengthen and enrich the communities in which we live and serve.
